Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026.

1. Who we are — FOTVIBES is a ready-to-wear fashion brand operating from Lagos, Nigeria and serving customers worldwide. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to us via the contact details in the footer, or through the chat button on any page.

2. What we collect — When you place an order we collect your name, email address, delivery address, phone number and order details. When you create an account we store your name, email and order history. When you join our mailing list we store your email address. If you leave a review we store the name and text you submit. If you start a checkout without finishing it, we temporarily hold the email and cart you entered so we can send you a reminder.

3. What we do not collect — We never see or store your card details. Payments are processed by Paystack, a payment provider regulated for this purpose; your card information goes directly to them. We do not buy data about you from anyone, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

4. Why we use your data — To fulfil and deliver your orders, to send you order confirmations and delivery updates, to answer your messages, to send review invitations after a purchase, to remind you about an unfinished checkout, and — only if you joined the mailing list — to tell you about new drops and offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is immediate.

5. Who helps us process it — Like most independent stores we rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: Paystack (payments), Resend (transactional and marketing email), Vercel (website hosting and cookieless visitor analytics) and Neon (secure database hosting). Each of these only receives what it needs to do its job.

6. Cookies — This site uses only strictly necessary cookies: they keep you signed in and remember your cart and preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our visitor analytics (Vercel Analytics) is cookieless — it counts visits without identifying or following you.

7. How long we keep it — Order records are kept for as long as we are required to for accounting and tax purposes. Account data is kept while your account is active; you can ask us to delete your account at any time. Mailing-list emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Abandoned-checkout details are kept only briefly for the reminder and are not added to any marketing list.

8. Your rights — Depending on where you live, data-protection law (including the Nigeria Data Protection Act and the UK GDPR for our UK customers) gives you rights over your data: to see a copy of what we hold, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to object to marketing. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details in the footer and we will respond promptly.

9. Security — Your data is stored in an encrypted, access-controlled database, and this site is served over HTTPS. Access to customer data is limited to the people who run the store.

10. Changes — If we make meaningful changes to this policy we will update this page and the date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
